1. What Karaoke Library is
Karaoke Library lets members sing along to karaoke tracks and videos, with the lyrics beside them, on their own phone or computer. By creating an account, paying for a plan, or using the app, you agree to these terms, the Privacy Policy and the Copyright Policy.
2. Your account
- You sign in with a 4-digit singer ID and a PIN. Keep your PIN private; you're responsible for what happens on your account.
- An account is for one person. It works on one main device, plus one extra device for 24 hours at a time on plans that include it.
- You must be at least 18, or have a parent or guardian agree to these terms for you.
3. Plans and prices
- Silver: up to 50 songs you pick, on your own device. Gold: up to 100 songs you pick, DJ links and an extra device. Platinum: the whole library, DJ links and an extra device.
- Prices are monthly: 2.99, 5.99 and 9.99, in Canadian dollars if you're in Canada and in euros everywhere else. Silver's first month is 0.99 for new members. Sales tax or VAT is added where the law requires it.
- Songs you pick are yours for good. Once a song is in your list it stays there and can't be swapped for another. To sing more songs, move up to a bigger plan. Other songs in the library are shown so you can see what's there, but you need a plan that includes them to sing them.
- We may change prices for future months. We'll tell you at least 30 days before a new price applies to you, and you can cancel before it does.
4. Payment, renewal and cancelling
- Payments are handled by Stripe. You can pay by card, Apple Pay or Google Pay. We never see or store your full card details.
- Your plan renews automatically every month on the same date, and your payment method is charged, until you cancel.
- You can cancel at any time in the app (My plan → Cancel at the end of this month). Your plan keeps working until the end of the month you've already paid for, then stops. We don't refund part of a month, except where the law says we must.
- Moving up a plan takes effect straight away, and you pay the difference for the rest of the current month. Plans can't move down, because the songs you picked stay in your list.
- If a payment fails, we'll try again for a few days. If it still fails, your plan stops until it's paid.
5. Customers in the European Union: your 14-day right
If you live in the EU, you normally have 14 days to cancel a new online subscription and get your money back. Because Karaoke Library gives you digital content straight away, we ask you to agree to start at once when you join; once you start using the service, you lose that 14-day right for the month you've paid for. You can still cancel future months at any time.
6. Credits
- You earn 100 credits for each karaoke track, karaoke video or lyrics file you upload that a coordinator approves.
- Every 1,000 credits can be used for 1.00 off your monthly plan (in your plan's currency). You choose when to use them in My plan, and they come off your next payment.
- Credits have no cash value, can't be sold or transferred, and end if your account is closed. If an upload is later taken down for breaking copyright, we may remove the credits it earned.
7. Uploading files
- Only upload karaoke tracks, videos and lyrics that you made yourself, or that you have the right to share. Don't upload a song's original recording, or lyrics or tracks copied from another website or app.
- When you upload, you confirm you have that right, and you give us permission to store the file, check it, and show it to members of Karaoke Library.
- Lyrics files are turned into PDF and shown inside the app. Every upload is checked by a coordinator before other members see it.
- Files that break someone's rights are taken down. Members whose uploads are taken down again and again lose the ability to upload, and may lose their account (see the Copyright Policy).
8. How you may use the songs
- Tracks, videos and lyrics are for your personal, private singing inside the app.
- Don't download, copy, screen-record, re-upload, share or sell them, or try to get around the app's protections (device limits, play links that expire, or the lyrics viewer).
- Don't use bots, scrapers or other automated tools on the app.
- A DJ link lets a DJ play your songs at a show for a limited time. Public performance of a song may need a licence from a rights society (such as SOCAN in Canada); getting it is the responsibility of the venue or event.
9. Ownership
Songs, recordings, karaoke tracks and lyrics belong to their composers, lyricists, singers, labels and publishers. The app itself, its design and its software belong to RightPro E-commerce Group Inc. Nothing in these terms gives you ownership of any of them.
10. Ending your account
You can stop using the app and cancel your plan at any time. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, for example by sharing a PIN, copying songs, or repeatedly uploading files that break copyright. If we close your account for no fault of yours, we'll refund the unused part of the month.
11. The service
We work to keep the app running and the library accurate, but songs can be added or removed (for example when a rights holder asks), and the app may sometimes be unavailable. To the extent the law allows, the app is provided “as is”, and our total responsibility to you is limited to what you paid us in the last three months. Nothing here limits rights you have under consumer protection law that can't be limited.
12. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. If a change matters to you, we'll show a notice in the app at least 30 days before it applies. If you don't agree, you can cancel before then.
13. Law and contact
These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of [province to confirm] and the laws of Canada that apply there. If you live in the EU or Quebec, you also keep the protection of your local consumer law. Questions: [contact email to add], or ask your coordinator.
